The home was nothing like the listing as far as “luxury” goes. The house was very run down. All of the walls had stains, tiles were cracked, couches terribly stained, and chairs/couches were missing cushions. There were live roaches in the cabinets in the kitchen. Part of the pool (infinity area) was green and full of algae. The pool itself needed to be vacuumed. The lawn was very long and the dock was overgrown with weeds. There was hair in the beds and on the nightstands, along with flies. The kitchen did not have much as far as cooking utensils. It’s listed as a chef’s dream. The built in outdoor grill doesn’t work. Nothing about this home except for the size should be described as a “mansion” and the word luxury is 100% inaccurate. We rented the home for 7 nights and left after two. Jessica was quick to respond and sent someone out to clean the pool but the house really needs a facelift and a good deep clean.
Issues we had -Flooding in 1st floor bedroom on the left after you enter front door from bathroom above. Water IN THE LIGHT FIXURE. Unable to use the room on the last night due to flooding. -Disconnected smoke detectors -There was no hot water in the master bathroom, neither in the sink nor the shower -No Hot water in the kitchen sink or the island sink -It took about 15-20 minutes for the dishwasher to get hot -Moldy or damaged cushions -Missing outdoor pool chair cushions -Part of the pool was actually green and fuzzy -Extra fees to heat the hot tubs -Pots and pans unusable due to excessive scratches or dirty from previous guests -Bright exterior security lights shining into bedrooms all night due to lack of blackout curtains -Peeling paint from the bathroom ceiling -Missing Tiles in shower floor -Furniture did not fully match listing photos, missing rug caused the couch to slide, creating a fall concern for an elderly family member Safety concerns for property needs to be fixed
